PT. (Persero) Kawasan Industri Medan, is a State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in the field of business management services Industrial Area. This area was established on October 7, 1988, with a composition comprising shares of the Government of Indonesia (central) 60%, North Sumatra Province 30% and 10% of Medan City Government.

Since the founding of the region, along with the high interest of investors to invest in North Sumatra, PT. Kawasan Industri Medan continue to develop the land. Until now has total area of ​​780 ha and will continue to be developed on their own or in cooperation with private parties who are experienced and professional in the construction of industrial zones.

Medan Industrial Estate area (Phase I), with an area of ​​+ 200 hectares, located on the western highway, and the area east of the highway called circuitry Medan Industrial Estate (Phase II) with an area of ​​325 Ha +.

Spatial phase II is very well planned and beautiful, with a main road in and out of a concrete area of ​​2 x 17.5 meter and 12 meter wide secondary roads. On the left and right of the road there are water pipes, waste water, hydrant, gas pipes, electricity and telephone cables, with underground construction.
