From 2018 to 2028, BTP will release 40,000sqm in prime office space for rent in the next ten years. Close to BTP, The Mount Gravatt area is also a significant employment area with a target of 10,000 new jobs in BTP anticipated by 2031, a 30 per cent increase. ////$300 Million in facilities will be invested in the park from 2018 to 2022. Since being established in 1985, Brisbane Technology Park has developed to accommodate more than 150 national and multi-national companies working in industries as diverse as biotechnology, health and medical services and products, mining, communications, electronics, and software development. BTP is part of the Queensland Government's $405 million Advance Queensland strategy to harness innovation that will create jobs now and for the future while strengthening and further diversifying the economy.
